July 20, 2015
I hope that everyone is having an enjoyable summer and that it has been pleasant for you and your family. I was happy to meet with some families at the St. Florian Fest and I look forward to meeting more families as we move into the 2015-16 school year.
I would like to introduce myself as your new principal. I am ecstatic to be joining the St. Florian family and community. I look forward to working collaboratively with all of you and greatly appreciate your commitment to St. Florian. It is truly amazing how devoted you each are to this school community. I am so thankful to each and everyone one of you for the efforts you put in daily and for choosing St. Florian. I understand the sacrifices that you as parents make to provide this educational opportunity for your child. I, along with the faculty and staff are committed to serving you, and we will continue to build on St. Florian’s strong curriculum and Catholic values.
Prior to joining St. Florian, I worked at St. Michael (South Shore Dr.) as the 5-8 Science and Social Studies teacher, taught the split 5-6th Religion class, and was assistant principal. I love education and feel that the fostering of children’s knowledge should be the basis for the things we do as educators and parents. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I was also in charge of Student Council, which brought many events and programs to the student body. I hope to share my knowledge and experiences with the students of St. Florian and continue to implement programs that will ensure the success of our students. I look forward to working in collaboration with you to enhance your child’s school experience. My door is always open if you have any questions or concerns.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers who took part in the St. Florian fest. The event was successful! I would especially like to thank Justine Miller and Diane Zbinden for spear-heading the event. Thank you to everyone for your continued commitment and support. It is an honor to be a part of such a committed, caring community.
God Bless Us!
